I found out, there is a way to have something like a freeze functionality on psr-s550!
If you checkout the registrations I made as a free sample, you will see, that this registrations will not change the following values:
•ABC stytus (on/off)
•ABC fingering mode
•selected style
•active style-section
•tempo
•style volume
•transpose value
So simply cheout the following url and download your free sample:
http://keyboardprofis.de/shop/article_550_demo/16-gratis-Demo-Voice-Registrations.html

You also can send me an email with further questions:

I bought a new psr s550b keyboard,Is there any freeze option in this keyboard, when I register in the registration memory all the settings are registered,I want to only register the voice, how can I do so,I use to register only the voice in psr 550 by going into the memory setting but in this keyboard I am not able to do it. Is there any option for this .. this is really required.

I think its one speaker but it does have a stereo output via the headphone jack. This will cancel out the sound coming out of the speaker. You can run stereo speakers from the headphone jack. Hope that helps!

The Yamaha YPT-400, YPT-410, PSR-403 and PSR-413 are all about the same. The voices, rhythms, effects and performances are exactly the same. The 413 adds a few arp patterns and has slightly better speakers (more bass & low-end) and the speakers are shaped slightly differently. It can also be used as a soft-synth controller as does the 410The only real difference is cosmetic- they all have slightly different shades of silver (with the 413 being the lightest, and the 400 being the darkest.) The new PSR-423 is an improvement to all of them, as it adds more tones and better rhythms and arpeggio patterns.
