just bougrt ypt 410 Onpage 34 says –turn automatic accompanimenton– Ifollowed simple instructions ,nothing happened just a drum beat of a kind Note Ihave experience with a keyboard previously [ bontempi ] cost 90 euros What is wrong with this I plan to return it on Monday.– disappointed

The answer is yes! The YPT-410 can be the midi controller of any PC “Soft”
synth.
Just plugin the USB cord and try it.

Hey, I have a question to which I have not been able to find an answer:
I have a Yamaha PSR-s500, and I am wondering how (if even possible) to record a song with one of the pre-made drum styles. Do I have to create my own style from start to finish? Or can I use one of the built in styles? Please respond!

…without chords. …any way to turn the chord accompaniment off? When you press Start or Auto Start, you get your choice of rhythms to perform to… without the feature to sequence?! I would like to hear how this keyboard sounds after recording directly to my cd recorder, not through other equipment which will change/compromise/distort the audio signal/sound. Please respond ASAP.

…turn on Auto Start, or Start, to turn on rhythm only, not with chords, to use the onboard 8-track sequencer of the keyboard, then play back the sequence, with Start, to connect directly to my cd recorder, not through a submixer, mixer, or anything else. Please respond ASAP.
