I am borrowing a friend's Yamaha keyboard until the summer. It is a very good quality keyboard and has a soft (damper) pedal that can be plugged in and always is. I use it almost daily, and after these 4ish years the pedal squeaks annnoyingly every time it is used. Obviously I don't want to try anything stupid because it is not my piano, but I was hoping there was a way to fix my squeaky pedal.

  2. Seeing as it's not your piano..and you probably don't want to starts shooting lubricant indiscriminately into it………..maybe drop into a music store and see what they think…….even if it costs a few bucks……still cheap rent for the use of a nice keyboard
    Good luck.
