  16. for only beginners! If you are proffessional musician, this keyboard is not suitable for you. because it is a toy!

  32. Have you got a PC?
you can download styles and voices at the Yamaha internet site. Then you must connect your keyboard with PC. I have a psr K1. But I don’t love it.

  36. Wow – performance assistance? Why did I learn still the good old handwork on a hammond M-100? People who can’t play without the help, they even can’t do it with the computer help. My midis are in my head, not in the instrument…
Karaoke? You can have it cheaper by buying Videoke-VCDs in South-East Asia…

  38. In the manual is a topic about Midi.
    Maybe that helps.

  46. You’re welcome.
The Tyros has much more functions but it has no learningfunctions build in it.
And as i have mentioned earlyer, i would not risk € 4000,- if playing a keyboard is not your cup of tea.
If it turns out that you got the feel for playing you can always switch to a Tyros.
But for a learning player i would not buy a Tyros.
You have to work your way trough 240 pages of manual instructions to figure out what the Tyros can do!!!!!

  48. thank you very much.

  49. Kingpinmaster1966 on Sat, 11th Apr 2009 9:57 pm
  50. No, for a beginner it’s a quite good keyboard with lot’s of functions that won’t set you back the price of a decent second hand car like the Tyros models who costs here in the Netherlands up to € 4000,-
