Yamaha’s keyboard/ digital piano (compare to Casio)?

I have been playing acoustic piano for over 5 years and I'm interested in buying a keyboard… ($ and performance are both my considerations)

(1) Is 76-key enough?
(2) What should I look for in Yamaha and Casio? (in terms of $ and performance)
(3) What is the difference between the Yamaha YPG and DGX series? They all have 3 models – with 76 keys, 88 keys, and 88 weighted keys…
(4) What about Yamaha P70 and Casio WK110?

I have an akai mpc 2000 xl, and a yamaha dxg 220 keyboard. what else do i need for home studio?

looking to do my own recording at home. nothing extremely huge, just enough to put out a quality album. i was looking to purchase a sound module. obviously microphones spit guards etc but which brand dont wanna go thru the whole trial and error thing. dont have the money to. will be running this all on a mac. my budget is approximately 5000 dollars.
