What do I need to get my keyboard going via MIDI on my computer?

I have a Yamaha keyboard that supports General MIDI, but I don't know what I need to buy to hook it up to my computer to record my MIDIs (I have a Mac OS X Tiger machine and will be using GarageBand). I know my piano is compatible with the Mac. But do i just need a simple USB wire, or a device, or some external box? I'd appreciate knowing and any links to a store where I can buy it. Thanks.
