One of the great features on this keyboard that you don’t usually find at this price point is that you can tweak the voices to your liking and add on-board effects. I thought the stock piano sounded a bit flat and dry so I added some reverb and chorus; also, the piano sound gets muddy really quick when you play dense chords so I …

  4. Run a stereo cable for your headphone jack to an input on your computer’s sound card (mic or line-in jack). Use a free program called Audacity to record the sound to a wav or mp3 file. Then use a video editing program to put the mp3 with the original video. It’s complicated, but not really.

  22. I see. Well it’s good that you can improve on the piano sound a bit. Plus it’s possily sound better with headphones anyway.
I’m currently just using a low quality keyboard that I got years ago and a software calles Korg DS 10 for the DS (surprise surprise <_<).
I have just one question. Where abouts could I buy the requires wires to connect the piano to a computer? Just wondering for if I can manage to buy a set I could get better sound quality on my recordings.
Thank you for the quick reply!

  24. keep in mind for some reason it doesn’t sound this good when played through speakers. I recorded this line-in to my computer so it’s a more pure example of the sound.

  26. This is beutiful! Thats me made up my mind now, I’m going to get a Yamaha PSR-E413. I was going to get the np30 but it didn’t have the synthesisor qualities that I needed. What kept me away from buying this was the generic piano. I didn’t like it that much. But I never knew you could tweak it to sound as good as this!
    5 stars and faved!

Thank you very much for uploading this!

  30. The sound was recorded directly to the computer by the sound card with an audio cable. I added reverb and chorus to the piano patch. Read through the comments because I’ve posted this before, thanks.
