    2. Im trying to get a PSR-S900 to replace my PSR-3000 but if you look at the PSR-3000 Videos i made it almost the same thing.

    3. hi, i’m from the phil.. would it be possible also to make a yamaha psr-s700 tutorial? i just bought one but i don’t have any idea about it. i have a manual but i have a hard time understanding it.

Thuzjak3 don’t forget that you can ALSO vary the sound of the keyboard with MIDI effects settings (reverbs, choruses, other effects), so you can take one of the basic voices and modify it until it sounds like what you want. Not as direct as a full synthesizer, but you might hit upon the sound you want. Also with a computer you can program more sound effects than the choice list in the keyboard itself and the keyboard will still play it! You can even play notes beyond the actual keys!

    5. The best ones that i got out of the PSR-S500 was the ( Live Allegro ) String patch.

    6. I didn’t hear the string voices. I am looking for a keyboard that sounds like REAL VIOLINS.

    7. excuse me for bothering you but what do you know about syx files?i have cakewalk sonar and i can send/recieve syx files but what are they?i have downloaded some syx files and sent them but nothing happends

    9. the only way you can make new voices is to layer the sounds. If you go to YAMAHA PSR-S500 Keyboard Tutorial 2 it will show you how to do it. I wish this keyboard can sampel

    10. indeed it is!its a great keyboard but it misses some functions!do you maybe know how to make sounds on it?i need sound that is on one clip here on youtube!type aziz catic and listen!how to make that sound?

    11. The PSR-S500 is not expandible I wish it was because it is so light to handel

    12. i know they are preset but can they be deleted and replaced???with some sort of memory expansion??chips are just chips they store data in format that keyboard reads why wouldent i be able to replace them?flash somehow?

    13. they only come preset to the keyboard all PSR Keyboards are like that

    15. as in loading a sound it to a keyboard the keyboard does not have a user voice category button to load User voices

    16. tnx for the information!no i know to put them in registration but i need new,different sounds,these are boring!!!as for evt and st2,i can load them but how to find them???and what do they represent?

    17. Changing the voice do you mean editing the voice or storing you favorite voices to a registration evt & st2 is TYROSII style format i dont think they might work properly on the S500

    18. yeah i also have a converter(google does miracles).one more question,is it possible to change the voices on the keyboard?put new ones?replace them somehow?and do you know what are .evt and .st2 files for?i get option to load them,but dont know what they are for and where to get them…tnx again for replying!!respect!

    Thats the drawback that i dont like about this keyboard is that it can only take 1 user style
    another thing is that you cannot load TYROS or TYROSII
    Styles to is because the both tyros styles are in a different format i already converted most of the TYROS styles to the PSR-S500 & PSR-3000

    20. i have bought this keyboard yesterday!!!it is awesome!!!but i have a question…how to put more than one style on to it??do i always have to load it or can i save it somewhere?when i go to user style i only have one style!dont know what to do…i hope you know the answer…btw,you play like pro!!!
